Most of the day was spent at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance beginning with blood work, radiation and a bone marrow biopsy. I'm sure Dave will sleep well tonight. He actually ate pretty good this evening, but I'm sure he was hungry after fasting all day. I'm afraid that these next few weeks are really going to drag on for us, but then I remind myself how fortunate we are to be able to be here in Seattle, and for all the great care Dave is receiving. It is a remarkable place.
Hi, Glad you had a safe trip back to Seattle. Keep telling yourself you'll be home in less then a month. Take it a day at a time and it will go fast. You both are in our thoughts and prayers...Give Ripley a big hug for me...what a sweetie he is....Toni
ReplyDeleteYes, it is an amazing place. Very positive attitudes, caring and helpful. I'm glad to hear you have an end in sight and that everything is going well. Ann and I are doing fine. We went for our walk today and have Pilates tomorrow. My sister and her husband are coming by to see us tomorrow, so we have a busy week ahead. Something else to look forward to is my fingernails are growing out. Pain in the rear end; they catch on everything. Minor problem in the scheme of things but really annoying. Hang in there.
