What a Difference a Day Makes

It was so nice to see Dave up and walking; it looked like he was running a marathon. He's bound and determined not to let anything get in his way of being discharged on Friday. I think he misses Ripley! He did try a little pudding and some juice, but he just isn't quite there yet. Hopefully, within the next few days his appetite will improve. They have taken him off antibiotics, TPN (IV nutrition) and his heart monitor. His heart converted back to sinus rhythm yesterday!!! What a relief that was. We had company today, Kathy and Gary Kuhn from Arizona. It was great seeing them.

  2. Dave it sounds like you are doing great. If you are off the TPN, antibiotics and heart monitor and are taking food orally, you are very close to going home. Any day now they will tell you, "You are going home tomorrow." It is good you are up and about that is the part I missed, being isolated with a cold. Keep up the excellent work.

Things here are fine. I have a small mustache and beard ( all I can grow so far) ans a little peach fuzz on top. Ann and I started Pilates yesterday and Elise our instructor put us through the paces. Ann has been doing it for a year but I am a novice, but it is great exercise and stretching.
