Evening with Friends

It was off to Orland's and Jan's tonight for dinner! Ike and Gus also joined us and we had a good time laughing and eating (something I'm really getting good at)! Dave had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Hunt today, and things went well. He only gained 1 lb., and the problem seems to be if I am not here to be sure he eats, he waits until I get home from work to fix supper. You can bet we had a long discussion about that!!! All in all, things are improving, albeit at a slow pace.

  1. Slow is good, frustrating but any progress is good and it sounds like Dave is doing great. This leg thing is frustrating; my big thigh muscles still are weak despite all the walking we do. If I squat I can't get up without rolling over. Time is what we have lots of now. Time to rest, time to exercise, time to visit with friends and family, time to enjoy all we have been given. Slow is good. GlenH
