ReplyDeleteI am a thousand winds that blow,
ReplyDeleteI am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Please stand not at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
The news leaves much sorrow inside of us. Yes, I know he is with Jesus in heaven now, but we will sure miss him. Jen,you and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Your courage and strength are amazing, we can all learn something from you. We'll be seeing you soon...Our love, Gordon and Toni

Jennifer and family,
ReplyDeleteWords can't describe how I feel about your loss. My mom has kept me posted for a while on his health. She has also sent me the link to his journey, so I have read it a lot.
Growing up with your family all of my life, and all of the fire dept. functions. We sure have a lot of memories with Dave.
I wish I could be there for the funeral, but I am not able to, but just know I am thinking about you and your family. Jenni (Tveidt) Stone
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beloved. I can't imagine a harder road to walk then what you have already so courageously faced. I hope that the memories of his smile and the wonderful moments you shared help to soften the raw edges in your heart right now and that are easy on yourself. You will never be the same and neither will anyone that met your wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He was an amazing man that touched many and his legacy will live on in those that he so wonderfully touched in life.
