Better Day
Today, Dave's confusion was definitely better. As soon as he can get off the pain medication for the mouth sores I think he will be able to get up and do some walking. He just hasn't felt like it the last few days. I'm going to see if I can convince him tomorrow. Jeff, Molly, Stella and Sully leave tomorrow, and I know I will really miss them. Dave was able to see them too and even hold Sully. Stella loved sitting on his bed and visiting with him. It's going to be really quiet after they leave and I'm not sure I'm going to like it!!! Hope we can be home by September.

Way to hang in there, Dave. Another 2 to 3 days and those new cells of yours should start kicking in. And when they do the mucositis gets better. It sounds like the rash is better with the steroids. Thank the chemotherapy for the rash. You are almost through with this and then things get rapidly better. Then one day your team comes in and tells you to go home(the Marriott). Keep up the good work. GlenH
ReplyDeleteDave, glad to hear your getting better and not so much confusion. It's all part of the medication they give you. The worst is over and you are now on the path to recovery, but it will take some time.Keep up your great attitude and you'll be healthy and stronger every day. Richard and I sure and enjoyed seeing you guys and being there for you. I'm sure Molly, Jeff and the grand kids boosted your spirits a lot. Love you guys
