Good Week

Dave seems to be doing a bit better, although a slow process. He is getting up each morning and having coffee with the guys, then spends a short time at the firehall before coming home. He's eating well and feeling pretty good besides the fatigue and weakness. He will start physical therapy on Monday to build up his leg strength. He has fallen a few times by just over-doing, but I think he finally realized what he can and can't do. He has asked, D.J., to stay with us for awhile and help out and be around just in case he does fall again and can't get himself up. We aren't planning on that happening, but one never knows. This weekend we have been able to care for our grandson, Sully, who is 6 months old. Boy are we enjoying that; he's a real sweetie with lots of personality. The fall weather is beautiful and tomorrow should be a nice day too. D.J. plans on trimming the hedge and I think I'll rake a bit. I'm sure the "chief" will be telling us what we are to do, so I guess I'll just roll with it!!

Fall Colors taken from United Methodist Church parking lot

Beautiful Weekend

It's been a great weekend! Dave has rested well and has enjoyed family and friends. We are so thankful to be here and in the comfort of our home. Dave's brother, Robin and wife Karen, niece Allison and great niece Peyton came up from Missoula for a visit on Saturday. It was so good seeing them. I went back to work last Monday and loved every minute of it; I will be working 30 hrs/wk as secretary at the Whitefish United Methodist Church. They held my job open for me, so I'm so thankful for that. The fall colors are beautiful; it's just such a feel of comfort and peace.
